This looks like a putting green
So it’s fake grass dividing a fake water area from real grass? Seems odd

Are you upset that I don’t want to swim with alligators?

It’s actually a putting green
Can you share what that cost you?
I’m really curious about the use of a lanai. I’ve lived in several parts of the US and have never seen this for houses. It would be so wild to have something like that in Colorado where it’s about to be -7 with snow this Saturday.
It looks pretty good
I’d choose a Sebo canister over a Meile for that lawn.
Why do people keep calling it a ‘lanai’? I lived in South Florida for decades and never heard a screened area called that.

That’s because it’s not being used correctly.

I thought a lanai is covered, and these are bird cages.
@Harlem
I’ve heard the term ‘pool cage’ but never lanai. That sounds like something a realtor made up
@Jules
Colorado has nice air and hardly any bugs throughout the year; no need for one there.
That’s an incredible putting green, it looks like it has great drainage—anyone with those nice bunkers knows what they’re doing. Well done!
You should put a hole for putting in that 10/10 setup
So what’s the big deal?
I’m confused about this post. This is a lawncare forum, but there’s no lawn here

I think he’s showing off, not asking for advice.
No one in Florida says lanai. As a lifelong resident here, it’s the first time I’ve heard a screened porch called that.
