1.5 weeks after aeration and overseeding

Check out the clear property line I have with my neighbor

That happened just before this picture was taken

That’s awesome…my lawn looks nothing like that after 1.5 weeks. I had more patches to fill in. I’m waiting the full 4 weeks before the first cut. I’ll handle any bald spots with fertilizer in the spring.

I’m about 10 days post aeration, used Gateway Blend Tall Fescue and Lesco starter 14-20-4. I saw germination around day 8. I’m not mowing for a few more days, but my progress is similar to yours. Cool season grass looks great this time of year with proper care.

@Tamsin
When did you feed? I sprayed spectracide a couple weeks ago, did some aerating, waiting 2 more weeks to seed but when should I feed?

Tell your neighbor to step it up

Why does every nice lawn have a neighbor who doesn’t care about his? I want to see two beautifully striped lawns side by side

That’s the domination line

Hey! If you want info about overseeding a cool season lawn, check out this guide in this post here.

Beautiful work, great job

I’m about 10 days out from my aeration/overseeding and it’s going to be 100°F for the next four days. Fun

Your lawn looks great, what breed of dog is that?

Isn’t it funny how Corgi mixes always look like Corgis dressed up as the other breed?

I’m guessing it’s a corgi and blue heeler mix

What is the dog doing?

Already mowed 10 days out? Seems early

I mowed 7 days after germination.
