Soil Test Advice

Well I did my part in getting the soil tested and now I have my readings. I have recently spread new seed on my backyard and was planning to use Lesco Professional starter fertilizer… then i had my soil test result analyzed and i’m lost.

Apply starter fertilizer or

It’s MySoil/Yard Mastery. I wouldn’t recommend it. They’re not accurate. Try using your local extension or a lab like Waypoint Analytical if they’re available near you.

Yeah, I’ve read through it. From what I understand, you shouldn’t rely too much on the chart. I missed the part about MySoil being bad though.

Do you think the Lesco starter fertilizer is a bad idea?

Yeah, I thought so too. I just didn’t know if being a starter fertilizer would make a difference… I guess I need to find one with less phosphorus.
