Should I put down seed again

I’m at a loss. I thought I did everything I could. First time homeowner and did hours of research and hours in my yard. Aerate, seed, starter fertilizer, tenacity, GCI TTTF, and peat moss. Watered 3x a day for 10 min. and 13 days later barely any germination. Idk what to do. In the transition zone so weather is still 60-80°.

  1. Should I put down more seed
  2. Do I do starter fert again
  3. Should I keep watering and waiting

Yes, you can
KBG can take 3 weeks to start germinating. So you probably aren’t even seeing that seed from the mix doing anything yet.

Consider also, each seed is a plant, not a blade of grass. So all these green hairs you see sprouting will fill out into plants and thicken up.

It always feels like things are looking thin at this stage of the game.

Not sure where your at or what your temperatures are like however seed best germinates between 50-65 degrees soil temperature. For me seeding for fall was over on September 30th. I have patchy areas and I’ll have to wait till spring to over-seed again. For now I’m enjoying what I have grown and praying it hold up through the winter.

Yeah you can put down more. I’ve always put down half my seed then wait to see what doesn’t germinate and the do the other half and go heavier in the bare spots.

For patches you can put new soil, or just rake into existing and cover with peat moss.
