Anyone else do double stripes

@Rowan
Do you use a roller because those lines are crooked AF.

Yea they are, I guess I could slow down a bit and fix the low spots.

Back roller slips on any kind of slope too.

My bad.

The double stripes look great.

My real question is, how the heck did you get the lawn between the tree roots to go the same direction, and be cut the same height as the surrounding grass? Anything in my yard ends up with a ring around it.

@Shane
It is a secret. Almost cheating.

I made a homemade “roller” that I use.

It is auxiliary stripping after mowing. This picture was taken after a bag-less mow/mulching. Then I water and go back over it with my “stripper/roller.”

That’s the only way to navigate the tree with no ring.

@Shane
He takes his time and takes his stripes seriously. It looks awesome!

Forgot my fall treatment… Lawns all weeds now because of life exhaustion.

We had our first kid September 1st. It was quite hard navigating the overseed with a one-month-old.

Wish I could learn how to do that.

This sub is the right place to be.

Mwaaaaahhhhh

@Beckett
It’s perfect.

@Beckett
Mind me asking what mower stripe combo you are running?

I have a few mowers I use. Mainly a John Deere 220SL and a Toro Greensmaster 1600. I also have a larger ride-on mower that I use for the back yard. That is a Jacobsen Greensking IV.

@Beckett
What is your grass type and HOC?

Rye cut at .75".

It’s beautiful, neighbor.
