I had great luck with this It has a surfactant built in which is helpful

This seems promising, thanks!

Clover often shows up when nitrogen levels drop so double check your fertilization schedule and make sure you are using enough

Triclopyr Spray once and it should be gone in a week However you can’t apply that for 6 weeks after seeding

I second Triclopyr I find it is easier on my grass compared to stuff like 2,4-d, dicamba and quinclorac especially in big patches Also Europe doesn’t label it as a carcinogen

I’ll look into this for spring, thanks!

The clover might die off in winter and if you use a pre-emergent at the right time it might not come back But I like having a shelf full of good stuff so I can tackle anything whenever needed

Is that 6 weeks before or after?

After using Triclopyr you need to wait 6 weeks before safe seeding

If you spray first, wait 3 weeks before seeding

Could you share a link to the specific one you buy if it’s online?

@Ellis
I get Hi-Yield Triclopyr Ester on Amazon It’s pretty cheap about 20 dollars I think

You don’t need a surfactant unless you mix it with other products

The dose is 3/8 to 3/4 fl oz per gallon of water for 1k sqft

I use a mix of speed zone and tenacity with a surfactant Usually takes 2 treatments 2 weeks apart but then it’s done

Wait until spring Spread some good pre-emergent and spray a mix of tenacity and speedzone Or if you want high quality stuff q4+

I know this might be unpopular but I actually think clover looks nice in a lawn

I don’t mind it on my lawn either
