I got mine from Harbor Freight for $30

@Logan
I got the same one but never used it because I was afraid I’d spring a leak and set myself on fire

I definitely had the same fear. Just tighten it as much as possible, and it’s safe. At least that’s what I tell myself

@Logan
Thanks! I’ll go for it

Glyphosate would be a better option to eliminate weeds/grass in a driveway. You could torch after two applications if you want to get rid of the residue quicker (wait until they are dead first) but they usually fall apart on their own after 2-3 glyphosate applications

If you want the weeds to stay gone, you’ll need a pre-emergent strategy, like putting down rock in a driveway or something chemical that isn’t harmful to grass for pavers

You just torch it until it glazes over. You did it way too long

I had bad luck with torching weeds in cracks. The deep-rooted varieties came back quickly, probably because the heat never killed the roots

Weed torch = Red Dragon

I just love torching weeds

I use weed killer, then a week later when they are dead and dried out I use the flame thrower. They burn up quickly and don’t leave much ash. What’s left gets washed away by the hose or rain

Yeah, we call these cactus torches and you really just need to hit it for a second or two

A mixture of vinegar, salt, and dish soap works for this case

This is the right answer

Keep in mind that some weeds grow back better after being burned!
