Looking for tips to clear my messy backyard

Honestly, if I were in your shoes, I’d just accept the mess. You could just relax on a rocking chair and enjoy the scenery.

That sounds like a plan, but we need to get it sorted out too.

Haha!

Those should be easy to pull out now. Toss them in the trash each week. Then use some gypsum and fertilizer. Rake it nicely and add grass seed in the spring, plus keep it watered.

Mowing regularly during growing season would really help.

Definitely plan to mow once I clear it up.

Try using a weed eater, shears, or loppers to tidy things up.

You can’t go wrong with a good pair of loppers.

Don’t forget to bring some dynamite for this mess.

Start by cutting it back, and then treat it as it grows.

You could put a circular saw blade on a string trimmer.

Consider renting a small bobcat to remove the old roots, then fill it with clean topsoil.

I heard there’s a guy in the southern US who brings goats to eat the weeds.

After that, you could set up irrigation, lay down quality soil, and put in some lawn rolls.

Goats could be an entertaining option for me.

Haha, this guy is offering goats in the southern US.
It’s funny how different Australia is from the southern US.
