I slept snug as a bug last night under 4 blankets in my 55° bedroom that I didn’t have to air condition.
I am not ready for summer. I don’t like it, and neither does my grass (or my water meter lol).
@Rowan
Winter is our time to relax and prepare for next year’s headaches.
Nah, I enjoy taking a break from spending hours a week mowing the lawn while sweating. I mean, it’s worth it, but a break is great.
Spring will be here before you know it! I’m older now and look forward to the last cut of the year. By the first of April, the itch will be back.
What type of fertilizer are you using? The color looks wonderful!

I miss summer only because it’s not raining every day. It’s always a guessing game of whether the ground has dried out enough so my zero turn won’t sink in or tear everything up on a turn.
Maybe just the lighting in photo 2, but that looks black. If that’s not your goal, you might want to back off that rate or reduce the frequency of the iron. Nice work!

Yes, you’re probably correct. I am still figuring it out. Thank you for the advice.

I made a striping kit for the back of my mower using PVC and sand.
