Heads Up on Garden Hose Discounts

I love my stainless steel hose. It’s the best one I’ve ever had. It’s lightweight and doesn’t kink. I keep it coiled in a plastic container, and it pulls out easily as I walk with it, coils back nicely, then I put the lid on and store it on a shelf.

But I’ve used flex hoses and liked them too.

I didn’t know stainless steel hoses existed. Any brands you recommend? I’m buying some stuff for spring lawn prep.

I’ve bought the cheapest ones on Amazon, and they’ve worked well for the past 6 months.

Good hose, but I recently bought one for a WFP, went to hook it up, and the plastic piece that connects to the spigot was completely unattached. I had to return it, so check it before you buy.

That’s a great deal! Too bad Home Depot doesn’t show local pickup options for stores near me.

I love mine so far, just got it.

I bought one based on recommendations from this forum, and it’s terrible. They get super sticky (yes, I keep mine rolled up when not in use). You have to use gloves or wash your hands right away. My hoses also have moldy spots, which I’ve never seen before. Overall, not worth it.

Full price at my store. They hardly ever mark things down and sell broken, opened, and returned stuff to people all the time. So I’m not surprised.

This is all I buy. I won’t get a hose I can’t drink from. My only complaint is they show dirt easily. Mine have lasted through four Texas summers and one deep freeze without any problems.

Legacy hoses are definitely worth it.

I’ve never had the full hoses but bought three of their feeder hoses for my reels.

All three got stuck to the hose bins between spring and fall, and I had to cut them off to remove them for winter.

I liked the idea, but they didn’t work well for me.

I wonder if any hose reels are on sale.

Harbor Freight niagara commercial grade 3/4 hoses or nothing.

Still full price for me. I’m trying another one.

I’m a big fan of the one I got. It’s pretty tough.

Ewww 5/8th. My new favorite is 3/4 hoses.

Wait, you guys are buying hoses? They’re free at self-checkout.

I’ve tried flexzilla myself, and I prefer something else. This hose kinks all the time.

Wow, I’ve had the exact opposite experience. They’re the best hoses I’ve used and are easy to coil up.

@Hayden
I agree. These hoses are great. When I see comments like yours on Amazon, it’s usually because people don’t read the instructions and follow the setup. I was concerned at first, but once I followed the instructions, it’s been solid ever since. I wouldn’t buy any other hose.
