What do you mean by easy? And how much does that greensmaster cost?

We checked out some used ones a couple of months ago. A 21" model that was about 6 years old was going for around $3000 to $3500. I bet the one the person who posted this has is really nice since it even has headlights.

You can find a used greenmaster 1000 for about $1200 to $1500 here in north Texas. It’s easy in that it can take a lot of abuse. If you accidentally put too much nitrogen on it and it burns up? No big deal, it recovers so quickly you won’t even notice in a week. If you apply a DMI fungicide during the hot summer? Bermuda doesn’t mind, it bounces back fast. If you mistakenly used Roundup instead of a selective herbicide? No problem, the leaves may die, but the roots go deep and it will grow back even thicker. Honestly, I’m jealous I didn’t choose Bermuda last year when I renovated my lawn. My zoysia needs too much pampering for my taste. Edit: by the way, Bermuda looks tough right now, great job
@Merrick
I agree, most of the work is in the prep. You can’t get it flat without quite a bit of effort. I would guess grass that short would need daily mowing during the growing season. But it would be worth it for a well-defined area like that.
@Merrick
Everything you said makes Bermuda sound great, except for one issue - it’s pretty picky in the shade while our Zoysia thrives. Trees and barefoot grass - it’s worth the effort!

Used ones are still too expensive for me, but it’s a dream.

Define easy as in ‘money being no object for lawn care.’

My dead Bermuda from the summer heat and watering restrictions has something to say too.

Water less often but deeply to encourage your Bermuda roots to dig deep for water. That makes a big difference for health and tolerance. Try to water no more than 2 times a week to reach about 1/2 inch per watering, usually needing around 1 inch of water per week, adjusted for rainfall. If your restrictions limit you to once a week, still aim for that inch, possibly irrigating 1/2 inch in the morning and another 1/2 inch in the evening to get enough into the soil. I recommend a cycle and soak method.

Well, it does need a lot of sunlight.
When it takes a nuclear meltdown to kill Bermuda, I would say it’s hard to kill and easy to maintain. If I lived in the south, I would definitely choose Bermuda. For now, I have tall fescue and think Bermuda is the worst and I want to get rid of it completely!
What do you have there? What mower is that? Where are the pictures? Let me see it
Tell that to your neighbor with all those mature trees.
Mine is still green thanks to some warm weather. It’s finally stopped growing though, we are starting to wind down.
It took me about two years to get the Bermuda grass sod at my new house to fill in nicely. This summer in the Carolinas was tough - I let some areas go brown instead of paying high water bills. A good dose of slow-release nitrogen fixed it up quickly once the temperatures dropped. I keep it cut to two inches. The indoor/outdoor carpet look just isn’t my style.
Looks great. What variety do you have?
@Lior
Can anyone tell me what kind of grass is used on a golf course like that?
